Soccer Buddies

I had the opportunity to visit a soccer league in Monroe Township that is for people with special needs. Once a week the coaches of the team pair the person with special needs with a neuro-typical buddy, to teach them how to play soccer! Everyone there was so welcoming and nice, and it was an absolute pleasure visiting! Monroe Township Soccer Buddies is a great program, and I am happy to say that I have now acquired great soccer skills :)! Please visit the link below for more information on volunteering or joining the team!

International Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) Conference

I attended the national Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) Conference at Montclair State University. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet some fantastic people! In the first picture on the left is Jeff Guenzel, who is the CEO of the ICDL Conference, and on the right is Gerard Costa, who is the Founder/Director/ and Lecturer for the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health College of Education and Human Services at Montclair. In the next picture, I met Anie Knipping,  who is the Author of The Seventh Stay Projects Eccentricity, A Journey Through A Mind. I appreciate everyones’ support towards Fantastic Friends and my Ambassadorship Campaign!
